Rimini Airport Parking

Rimini Airport is commonly referred to as Federico Fellini Airport, and is situated approximately 8 km from the city center of Rimini. It is also known as Rimini-Miramare Airport, as it is actually located in the area of Miramare. This region of Italy is considered to be one of the most important holiday resort locations in Europe. Rimini Airport has a modern and well-equipped terminal building, as well as adequate parking areas for passengers arriving by car.

Directly in front of the terminal building passengers can drop-off or pick-up passengers and their luggage. This area is not intended to be used as a parking area, but rather a quick-stop area, just for these activities. Vehicles cannot be left unattended in this area. Parking areas are otherwise available for short-term vehicle parking and parking for longer periods of time. The parking areas are all nearby the terminal building, within walking distance.

Rimini Airport is accessible for disabled passengers and passengers with reduced mobility. There are numerous parking spaces located nearby the terminal building which are dedicated for use by disabled motorists, and pavement ramps allow for easy wheelchair access. Persons using the disabled parking spaces should have their disabled person’s sticker available, which will then allow the parking area to be used free of charge. Within the terminal building there are disabled toilet facilities, and elevators which can be used to travel between the levels of the airport. Individuals may also request special assistance from their airline company when booking their flight. The airline company staff will then ensure that there is a staff member of Rimini Airport available to assist with the airport’s check-in and security procedures. Boarding operations are simplified for persons in wheelchairs by an ambulift.
