Return of the rented vehicle out of Avis office hours is possible at most locations in Italy. In Italy, customers must request the services of after hours return in advance. The location will then need to give their approval. The rental charges are based on the next opening day and hour of the location, and not the time that the rental car was returned. Fuel up Front
This option is for those customers who are likely to use most of the full tank of fuel and would like to save the time and hassle of refuelling the vehicle themselves. A full tank of fuel is bought ahead of the rental. This option is also offered on collection of the vehicle.

Pay on Return
This is an option for those customers who did not purchase fuel ahead of the rental with the Fuel up Front option, and did not have time to refuel the vehicle themselves. The customer will pay for the litres of fuel used and for a refuelling service charge. The Pay on Return option is automatically chosen if the Fuel up Front option is declined.

Bring Back Full
There will be no other fuel charges from Avis if the vehicle is returned with a full tank of fuel.
