Rome Ciampino Airport Arrivals (CIA)

Ciampino Airport mainly handles domestic and charter flights. The airport has four terminals, one of which is a dedicated cargo terminal. The other three are passenger terminals- Departures, Arrivals and General Aviation.

Ciampino Airport, as part of the Gruppo Aeroporti di Roma, can offer special assistance to arriving passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility. ADR Assistance, a new company that has recently joined Gruppo Aeroporti di Roma, provides free ground assistance for all such passengers at Ciampino and Fiumicino Airports. Any passengers that require special assistance should contact their airline and report their needs at least 48 hours prior to arriving at Ciampino Airport. Help can be requested at the time of booking or over the internet at www.adrassistance.it. Your relevant airline will then ensure that an ADR Customer Assistance Officer is waiting for you on your arrival. Assistance includes help through passport control and baggage reclaim. The assistant officer will accompany the passenger to the arrivals lounge to meet the person waiting for them, or will help the passenger to find a suitable means of transportation from Ciampino Airport whether it is bus, car hire Rome, train or taxi.

Apart from this superb assistance, Ciampino Airport is equipped for disabled passengers. They removed the architectural barriers that caused inconvenience to such passengers, and have made sure that they have all the facilities that these passengers may require. Wheelchair accessible toilets can be found in all the air terminals. During an emergency evacuation, airport staff are trained to assist disabled/reduced mobility passengers off the access ramps and from the boarding gates.

Passengers at Ciampino Airport, who end up in the rare and unfortunate circumstance of having their checked baggage lost, should contact the airline’s handling agents: Baggage Assistance Flight Care Italia, or Baggage Assistance EAS. The lost luggage office is at the information desk in the Arrivals area. Opening hours are from 07:00 to 23:00.
