The entry to the airport is facilitated by sidewalks with access ramps, stoplights with audible signals for visually impaired individuals and reserved disabled parking spaces. On the ground floor of the main terminal, there is also a special waiting room for those in need of assistance. This room is the Sala Amica. Passengers can make arrangements for additional assistance from their airline company when they book their ticket, or at least 48 hours in advance of their departure flight.
