Naples Airport consists of two terminal buildings, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is the main and larger of the two, handling the majority of departure flights, while Terminal 2 is mostly used for charter flights and tour operators. The terminals are within easy walking distance of one another, and the car parking areas do not require shuttle bus transportation. They are all located close by the terminals, with the long-stay parking area nearby the airport entrance, and the short-stay parking lots along the airport’s entrance road. Naples Airport welcomes disabled and reduced mobility passengers, and has strived to provide for their comfort in all areas of the airport. The entry to the airport is facilitated by sidewalks with access ramps, stoplights with audible signals for visually impaired individuals and reserved disabled parking spaces. On the ground floor of the main terminal, there is also a special waiting room for those in need of assistance. This room is the Sala Amica. Passengers can make arrangements for additional assistance from their airline company when they book their ticket, or at least 48 hours in advance of their departure flight. Qualified airport and airline personnel will then be ready to assist you on your arrival at the airport. Naples Airport also has call points at all the terminal entrances, the Sala Amica and at all the car parks, and there are special disabled toilet facilities within the terminals.
